James Healy (Music Director) served as director, music director, and/or vocal coach for numerous school, regional, and university productions and taught high school choir and musical theatre for five years while maintaining a successful private voice studio. James recently appeared with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble at LaMaMa in the U.S. premiere of Salieri’s La Cifra and in Phantom of the Paradise (Secret Loft). Other recent performance engagements include the role of Stephen Bellamy in Farragut North (Red Herring Theater) and as baritone soloist in Haydn’s Theresiennmesse (Metropolitan Chorale). James studied voice with Dr. Jean McDonald at the University of Northern Iowa (BME, 2012) and is honored to work with this talented cast and team on such a fun show!

I am VERY sad to announce that I will be leaving @bronxtalemusical on December 17th💔💔 It was very amazing to work with such spectacular actors and actresses! I was very happy to be part of this show! I remember when I just started and everyone took me in with open arms and congratulated me on my broadway debut. I love guys all so much! And I will never forget you guys! I wouldn’t have asked to have my broadway debut on any other show! ❤️ I really loved this fun experience! Special thanks to @super_will2006 for always being there for me! @kaleigh_cronin for being a really supportive friend. And last but not least, @brittconigatti for helping me to learn the dance! And the whole cast, ugh!!!! You guys just made this experience even more fun! Without you guys it wouldn’t be as fun! And everyone backstage without you the show couldn’t go on! I love all of you so much!! I’m really sad to be leaving this show! This is also one of my favorite broadway shows! Thank you everybody so much! I’ll make sure I’ll come and visit you guys in the Bronx!
