SUMMARY:STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW Equity Principal Auditions
DESCRIPTION:MORE INFO \nIf you are a non-union performer\, please see this article for tips on attending an Equity call. \nTuesday\, March 24\, 2026 \n10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (E) \nLunch 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM \nSEEKING \nEquity actor for possible future replacements for the Broadway production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW (See breakdown). \nNote that this notice is seeking all principal roles\, but we’re including the ones where the character ranges are under 18 below. \nHENRY CREEL – 14-16. Male. White. A high school freshman. Henry is a natural born loner hiding a terrible secret\, but though evil lurks within him\, so does the spirit of the boy he once was. Curious\, savagely loyal\, and above all\, desperate for connection. He is caught in the middle\, locked in a battle for his own soul. Henry Creel is a key character in the show. Has depth and authenticity. \nPATTY NEWBY – 14-16. Female. Black or mixed race. A high school freshman. Between bullies at school and her oppressive father\, she has developed a quick wit and a thick skin\, but dreams of escaping her small town. \nJOYCE MALDONADO – 17-18 years old. Female. White. Joyce is a teenage slacker who in all things dances to the beat of her own drum. Some might call her chaotic\, but the truth is she outgrew school long ago. That is until\, on the verge of graduating\, she realizes she can use school to help her escape her small town. Sarah knows her own mind and has an authority built on not caring if she fits in. She knows she’s destined for bigger things\, but fears this might be her last chance to break free. \nJAMES HOPPER JR. – 17-18 years old. Male. White. He has a fractured relationship with his father and can’t wait to get out of his shadow and leave the small town he grew up in. Independent\, often left to his own devices\, he can come across as arrogant and cynical\, and has plenty of girlfriends. Alpha male though has a good heart underneath. \nBOB NEWBY – 17-18 years old. Male. White. Bob is a good and very smart student. A sheltered teenager\, he has a natural earnestness and naivety. Less experience around girls. Never lacking in enthusiasm\, and a real sound geek\, Bob is particularly passionate and proud of his role as a DJ. \nWALTER HENDERSON – 14-16. Male. White. A high school freshman. He’s an outsider who’s a bully to some and bullied by others. But he does have a girlfriend which he’s very proud about. His family runs the local liquor store and with that comes a level of respect within the town. \nALAN MUNSON – 14-15. Male. White. Bit of a misfit. Humor is derived from how seriously he takes things. He’s wholly committed to the pursuit being authentic – even to the point of ridiculousness. \nCHARLES SINCLAIR – 17-18. Male. Black. Athletic and smart\, on the High School Football team but not your typical jock. Assured\, enthusiastic and earnest but not overly confident. \nTED WHEELER – 17-18. Male. White. Sportsman and very proud of it. Not the brightest spark\, but is popular\, jock\, athletic\, enjoys his muscles\, sport\, and impressing the girls. \nSUE ANDERSON – 17-18. Female. Black. Sharp and quick-thinking\, direct\, clear\, with formidable organization skills – she basically runs everything. No-nonsense\, loyal\, and smart. \nKAREN CHILDRESS – 17-18. Female. White. High School Cheerleader\, not the smartest student\, but never lacking in confidence. She’s fun and always gives everything 100%. Knows what she wants\, is popular with the boys and enjoys it. \nCLAUDIA HENDERSON – 17-18. Female. White. A good student\, keen\, earnest\, and smart. Not one of the cool kids. Loves animals. A lot. \nALICE CREEL – 10-11. Female. White. The youngest of two children\, and her family have just moved from the desert to a beautiful big old house in this small town in the Midwest. She’s excited about their new home and new life here. She loves cute animals. \nPlease prepare Sides for the character you are interested in. Sides will be available on the morning of the audition through the Equity monitor. If you are auditioning for the role of Alice\, the Side is short\, so you may opt to do the Side or a 1-minute monologue. Sides will be available on the morning of the audition through the Equity monitor. \nHolding room -Studio 17R

SUMMARY:THE SAVIORS Equity Principal Auditions
DESCRIPTION:MORE INFO \nIf you are a non-union performer\, please see this article for tips on attending an Equity call. \n1st Rehearsal: 5/12/26 \n1st Preview: 6/11/26 \nOpening: 6/28/26 \nClose: 7/19/26 \nSEEKING \nEquity actors for roles in THE WINTER’S TALE (See breakdown). All roles will be understudied. \nPAUL – Male\, 14 years old. Confident\, athletic\, and kind with a simmering curiosity that could burst him open. He is a favorite student amongst his teachers\, not because of his intelligence but his personality and ease. He has social skills that make him seem older\, and has a softness that leads to vulnerability. Complete opposite of Michael. He would be in the popular social circles at school if he weren’t best friends with Michael. \nMICHAEL – Male\, 13 years old. Steadfast devotion to God and to Paul. More insecure every day\, which results in a slightly anxious mindset. The kind of kid that adults appreciate more than his peers. He has an earnestness and honesty that is almost naive. His anxiety about losing Paul creates an intensity in their friendship. \nThese auditions will be held at Sunlight Studios. The holding room is Studio D and the audition room is Studio E.

Bring your book in case we need to hear a second song\, and a picture and resume stapled together. \nLITTLE CEE CEE: Female Presenting\, 8-10. An old-time comic in the body of a singing\, dancing 9 year old girl (think Bette Midler as a kid). Spectacularly talented\, not just for her age\, but for any age. Already a diva – Wild red hair\, loves quirky\, sparkly clothes\, has a vocabulary of adult words\, many of them outrageously inappropriate. As a result of all of that\, she has probably never had a friend her own age. Strong powerful singer\, mostly belt\, a little mix. Must dance well\, and tap is a plus. No taller than 4’4. \nLITTLE BERTIE: Female Presenting\, 8-10. Even at age eight\, Little Bertie lives under the stringent rules of propriety that her widowed Mother taught her and insists on. Only when she meets Little Cee Cee are her eyes opened as to how the world can be outside of her sheltered restricted life. Solid singer with a pretty voice\, mix and a little belt. No taller than 4’4.
