DESCRIPTION:GET MORE INFO \nSEEKING \nEquity actors for various roles.  \nTREVOR 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Our young hero\, TREVOR is an unabashed enthusiast of music\, theater\, dance and last\, but certainly not least: Diana Ross. Despite the feminine labels that his peers eventually (and mockingly) assign to him\, TREVOR’s actions/mannerisms are less “girly” than they are distinct\, unique and unable to be to be categorized into what his classmates consider to be normal. Bright and imaginative; naive and impressionable; TREVOR oozes heart and soul… Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo-Soprano: G below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nWALTER 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Trevor’s neighbor and longtime childhood friend. WALTER wears big\, chunky glasses and his wardrobe is (obviously) comprised of ill-fitting (sometimes too tight\, sometimes too loose) hand-me-downs. WALTER would be equally at home as part of a science fair or a spirited game of Dungeons & Dragons. Dance/movement skills a plus. Tenor: C below middle C to A above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nPINKY FARADAY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; One of the coolest guys at Trevor’s Junior High – tall\, athletic\, handsome (the jock heartthrob of the 8th grade). In spite of this\, PINKY still has an air of innocent obliviousness about him. He is authentic and empathetic\, though not to the detriment of his hard-earned reputation. Dance/movement skills a plus. Tenor: Bb below middle C to A above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nCATHY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Trevor’s friend at school. Awkward with braces and a mane of out-of-control hair\, CATHY is in that painful stage in which she is just beginning to care about her perception and appearance but\, still void of social savvy\, subtlety and fashion sense\, this only makes matters worse. Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo Belter: G below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nFRANNIE 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Pretty and popular\, FRANNIE is the (reciprocal) object of Pinky’s affection. Like Pinky\, we recognize her natural desire to be compassionate and kind to those around her\, albeit typically trumped by maintaining her social standing. Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo: G below middle C to second Ab above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nMARY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Frannie’s BFF; she is razor sharp\, straightforward and does not suffer fools. A firm believer in the social hierarchy of Lakeview (she lands on top)\, she is always on the lookout for those who belong and those who don’t. Dance/movement skills a plus. Alto: F below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL \nJASON 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; The “meanest” of the jocks; JASON is quick (and seemingly delighted) to draw attention to the shortcomings of anyone around him. A poster-child of overcompensation to distract from his own insecurities. 14 years old.
