Cool without realizing it\, Zoe could care less about the status games and popularity rites of high school. Few rooms are as familiar to her as the inside of a family therapist’s office. Zoe compensates for her brother’s darkness by striving to be warm\, nice to everyone\, the kind of person who goes out of her way to learn the names of the kids who sit by themselves at lunch.
