SUMMARY:STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW In-Person Equity Principal Auditions (Day 2)
DESCRIPTION:GET MORE INFO \nThe upcoming Broadway production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow is holding in-person auditions! The show is seeking Bob Newby\, Alice Creel\, and possible future replacements: \nBOB NEWBY – 17-18 years old. Male. White. Bob is a good and very smart student. A sheltered teenager\, he has a natural earnestness and naivety. Less experience around girls. Never lacking in enthusiasm\, and a real sound geek\, Bob is particularly passionate and proud of his role as a DJ. \nALICE CREEL – 10-11. Female. White. The youngest of two children\, and her family have just moved from the desert to a beautiful big old house in this small town in the Midwest. She’s excited about their new home and new life here. She loves cute animals. \nPossible future replacements: \nHENRY CREEL: CAST 14-16. Male. White. A high school freshman. Henry is a natural born loner hiding a terrible secret\, but though evil lurks within him\, so does the spirit of the boy he once was. Curious\, savagely loyal\, and above all\, desperate for connection. He is caught in the middle\, locked in a battle for his own soul. Henry Creel is a key character in the show and has depth and authenticity. \nPATTY NEWBY: CAST 14-16. Female. Black or mixed raced. A high school freshman. Between bullies at school and her oppressive father\, she has developed a quick wit and a thick skin\, but dreams of escaping her small town. \nJOYCE MOLDONADO: CAST 17-18 years old. Female. White. Joyce is a teenage slacker who in all things dances to the beat of her own drum. Some might call her chaotic\, but the truth is she outgrew school long ago. That is until\, on the verge of graduating\, she realizes she can use school to help her escape her small town. Sarah knows her own mind and has an authority built on not caring if she fits in. She knows she’s destined for bigger things\, but fears this might be her last chance to break free. \nJAMES HOPPER JR.: CAST 17-18 years old. Male. White. He has a fractured relationship with his father and can’t wait to get out of his shadow and leave the small town he grew up in. Independent\, often left to his own devices\, he can come across as arrogant and cynical\, and has plenty of girlfriends. Alpha male though has a good heart underneath. \nWALTER HENDERSON: CAST 14-16. Male. White. A high school freshman. He’s an outsider who’s a bully to some and bullied by others. But he does have a girlfriend which he’s very proud about. His family runs the local liquor store and with that comes a level of respect within the town. \nALAN MUNSON: CAST 14-15. Male. White. Bit of a misfit. Humor is derived from how seriously he takes things. He’s wholly committed to the pursuit being authentic – even to the point of ridiculousness. \nCHARLES SINCLAIR: CAST 17-18. Male. Black. Athletic and smart\, on the High School Football team but not your typical jock. Assured\, enthusiastic and earnest but not overly confident. \nTED WHEELER: CAST 17-18. Male. White. Sportsman and very proud of it. Not the brightest spark\, but is popular\, jock\, athletic\, enjoys his muscles\, sport and impressing the girls. \nSUE ANDERSON: CAST 17-18. Female. Black. Sharp and quick-thinking\, direct\, clear\, with formidable organization skills – she basically runs everything. No-nonsense\, loyal and smart. \nKAREN CHILDRESS: CAST 17-18. Female. White. High School Cheerleader\, not the smartest student\, but never lacking in confidence. She’s fun and always gives everything 100%. Knows what she wants\, is popular with the boys and enjoys it. \nCLAUDIA HENDERSON: CAST 17-18. Female. White. A good student\, keen\, earnest and smart. Not one of the cool kids. Loves animals. A lot. \nProduction dates in 2025. \nPlease prepare a short monologue in the style of the show. Also\, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. \nNote: While the production is casting for the teenage roles\, keep in mind that the West End production employs actors over the age of 18 for these roles. \nFor tips on how to attend an Equity audition as a Non-Equity performer\, please visit ActorsAesthetic.com. \nUnable to attend in person? Equity actors may also submit video auditions. Read more HERE.

SUMMARY:STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW In-Person Equity Principal Auditions (Day 1)
DESCRIPTION:GET MORE INFO \nThe upcoming Broadway production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow is holding in-person auditions!
