Lots of alumni news today! Sophia Anne Caruso (“Sound of Music” LIVE) and Taylor Richardson (Annie) are filming a movie with AnnaSophia Robb called “Jack of the Red Hearts”. David Gabriel Lerner (Mary Poppins) will guest star in an episode of “Royal Pains” on USA on July 22nd at 9pm. Matthew Mindler (Billy Elliot) appears on “This American Life: Live at BAM” with Lin Manuel Miranda and Ira Glass. You can watch it (for $5) over HERE. And lastly, Tony Winner Kiril Kulish (Billy Elliot) will co-star in the upcoming indie film “Sonata” with Boo Boo Stewart of “Twilight”. Congratulations to all our alumni on their continued success!

Zachary Unger (Newsies) has joined the lineup for NYCLU’s “Broadway Stands Up For Freedom”, an event benefits the NYCLU which focuses on civil liberties and rights.
