After months and months of thinking, I’ve decided I need help. Between both Young Broadway Actor News and Kids on Tour, there are 20+ shows, 100+ kids, and 400+ alumni. With my school and work life getting busier, I need some help to keep up with everything related to the two blogs. So here is who I am looking for (Note: I’m looking for an assistant for both YBAN AND KOT): Time Commitment: 10-15 hrs/week (roughly) NO PAY. I REPEAT – NO PAY. Accepting applications from US residents high school-aged and above ONLY **If you are school-aged, do not let the information below scare you! Keep in mind that I was 15 when I started YBAN (18 when I started KOT) while I was still in my first web design/programming class. Must-Have Skills (at least a little experience in the following) -WordPress (Customization and Administration) -HTML/CSS; HTML5/CSS3 (must know all four) -Some knowledge of PHP -Fireworks/Photoshop/Illustrator (must know one of these) -SEO Helpful (but not required) Skills -Social Media Management -HootSuite -Content Writing/Blogging Duties (just to get you started; more like Facebook/Twitter management could be added later): -Check Google and YouTube on a semi-regular basis and post related content -Write, format, and add SEO to blog posts daily (we can split it up MWF, TTh, SaSu, or however you’d like) -Edit pages as needed -Create banners for opening nights and birthdays -Update Calendar as needed -Update Alumni page as needed -Read reviews after all opening nights and add review quotes (as needed) -Backup website every week -KOT specific: pay attention to season announcements and update tour schedules -**More duties that can be added later include editing pages TO SUBMIT: Please fill out this application.
