Broadway’s Maya Jade Frank (Mary Poppins, Evita), Michael Lee Brown (Dear Evan Hansen), and Alessandra Tehya Frank today announced their new production, BeneFIT, a donation-based series of Zoom classes taught by industry professionals to benefit The Actors Fund beginning Sunday, February 14th at 5:30pm EST. The series will create a sense of community amongst artists and humans alike, in a time where community is so necessary, with 100% of donations going to assist those in need through The Actors Fund. Guests will include Broadway’s Erica Mansfield (Mrs. Doubtfire, Kiss Me Kate, Bandstand), Joshua Turchin (Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation, The Perfect Fit), Emerson Steele (Violet), Madison Lagares (School of Rock), Sophie Knapp (Once), Gabby Carruba (Dear Evan Hansen), Sky Lakota-Lynch (Dear Evan Hansen), Karla Garcia (Hamilton), Beatrice Tulchin (A Christmas Story, Matilda), Siri Howard (Les Misérables, The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the Opera), Olivia Puckett (Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton), Samantha Williams (Dear Evan Hansen, Caroline, or Change) as well as TV and film stars such as Larry Saperstein (Disney+’s “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”), Jillian Shea Spaeder (Disney+’s “Godmothered”, “Walk the Prank”), Dalya Knapp (CBS’s “Evil”), Jared Sandler (Netflix’s “The Wrong Missy”, “Hubie Halloween”), and Isabella Lagares (“I’m Not Him”), along with entertainment professionals such as BroadwayWorkshop’s Marc Tumminelli The series will kick off with a class led by Michael Lee Brown, with the following week Marc Tumminelli taking over for Baking and Audition Tips.
