New York, NY – The Green Room 42 presents a darkly funny and entertaining evening featuring the songs of the Obie Award-winning cult classic A Very Merry Unauthorized Children’s Scientology Pageant: In Concert, an unforgettable celebration of Kyle Jarrow’s (with material by Alex Timbers) brilliant reenvisioning of a traditional Christmas pageant, which features E-Meters, Xenu, and L. Ron Hubbard’s Dianetics. Experience incredible songs such as “Hey! It’s A Happy Day,” “Science Of The Mind,” and “Rain” like never before! Featuring an all-star cast of Broadway and New York’s finest young talent, you’ll have an unforgettable Scientology-packed experience at this concert—it’s out of this world.

Sean Pollock (Director/Designer) is a multi-disciplinary writer, director, designer, and artist based out of Brooklyn. Recent credits include: Laundryfest, The Bed Show, Super Short Site Specific Festival, Phantom of the Paradise (Secret Loft), Intimate Bar Plays, #serials (The Flea), A Very…Scientology Pageant: In Concert (54 Below) I’m Smiling Because I’m Uncomfortable (NYC and Touring), Greed Play, This Is A Play About Newscasters. Off-Broadway: Trump Rally (United Solo/Theatre Row). He currently serves as the Literary Associate for The Dirty Blondes and Company member of Unattended Baggage. James Healy (Music Director) served as director, music director, and/or vocal coach for numerous school, regional, and university productions and taught high school choir and musical theatre for five years while maintaining a successful private voice studio. James recently appeared with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble at LaMaMa in the U.S. premiere of Salieri’s La Cifra and in Phantom of the Paradise (Secret Loft). Other recent performance engagements include the role of Stephen Bellamy in Farragut North (Red Herring Theater) and as baritone soloist in Haydn’s Theresiennmesse (Metropolitan Chorale). James studied voice with Dr. Jean McDonald at the University of Northern Iowa (BME, 2012) and is honored to work with this talented cast and team on such a fun show!
