The 78th Tony Awards will broadcast live coast-to-coast on CBS and stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the special airs).

CBS and Pluto TV will present The Tony Awards: Act One, a pre-show of live, exclusive content leading into the 78th Annual Tony Awards. This portion will air at 6:40-8pm EST on Pluto TV.

Nominees include shows with Broadway kids like Gypsy and Boop, Broadway and Off-Broadway kids all grown up like Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, John Proctor is the Villain, Sunset Blvd., The Picture of Dorian Gray, Just in Time, Smash, and Pirates! The Penzance Musical, as well as shows featuring Broadway kids and alumni like The Hills of California and Stranger Things: The First Shadow!

Acting nominees include Broadway kids grown up like Sadie Sink (Annie, The Audience, “Stranger Things”) for John Proctor is the Villain, Fina Strazza (Matilda) for John Proctor is the Villain, Julia Knitel (Bye Bye Birdie) for Dead Outlaw, and Gracie Lawrence (Brighton Beach Memoirs, Lawrence) for Just in Time!

Shows set to perform during the ceremony including Gypsy, Buena Vista Social Club, Dead Outlaw, Sunset Blvd., em>Just in Time, and Pirates! The Penzance Musical.
