They received nominations for Outstanding Art Direction For Variety Or Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Technical Direction Camerawork Video Control For A Miniseries Movie Or A Special, and Outstanding Music Direction. Congratulations everyone! The Creative Arts Emmys airs on September 19th with the Primetime Emmys airing on Sept. 20th.

In August, Sweeten the Future will be held on August 28th to support Sweet Generation which supports arts education. Congratulations to Mia Sinclair Jenness (Les Miserables) who will voice a character in “Hotel Transylvania 2”! The film will be out on September 25th.

Caleb McLaughlin (Painted Rocks…, The Lion King) has booked a recurring role on a TV series. No other details other than that but we will bring you more information when we find it. Congrats, Caleb!

Broadway Kids in Broadway Barks, Stars 4 Foster Youth, and more!

Sydney Lucas Broadway kids to take part in Broadway Barks on July 11th in Shubert Alley from 3-6:30pm! This annual event helps to find homes for dogs and cats with the help of some Broadway actors and actresses. Sydney Lucas (Fun Home), Tori Feinstein (Matilda), and Tori Murray (Ruthless!) will all make an appearance for a good cause. More details can be found at TheatreMania.com.

The kids of Les Miserables, Annie, King and I, and more performed at last night’s Stars 4 Foster Youth event. Also in attendance were Seth Rudetsky and Megan Hilty.
